Nice article!

As a graduating Penn student, I was in the audience on Monday morning, and thought that Schmidt delivered a great speech. The best part? When he said “LOL” during the speech. I almost fell out my chair laughing.

Just a note: The “yellow sash” placed over his shoulders was actually his being hooded. It’s the culminating moment of conferring a Doctoral Degree – in this case the Honorary Doctorate of Science that Penn awarded him just before his address.
