We may have some red-tape obstacles here in Philly, but we need to show how the human connection in the community counterbalances that. A letter-writing campaign was a brilliant way to show we support each other and would welcome any new techies to the fold. I sent my email in immediately.

I hope we all took 2 minutes to campaign for Philly. Always, at whatever convention you attend, at whatever back-yard picnic or red carpet event you find yourself, keep lobbying for Philadelphia! Leadership in a creative economy is our goal.

I've had this rumor confirmed by someone being interviewed by Fast Company for the Philly feature. So it's looking highly, highly probable that we're appearing in their series.

Our effectiveness at lobbying as a community shows the extent to which we've built relationships outside of the region AND the extent to which we're being watched by outsiders.

In short, this is a great omen.
