Philly’s favorite Web designs chosen by our readers
Last week, we announced a contest in partnership with Mogo Media to give one of our readers a free ticket to Mogo’s Adobe Flash training seminar on Fri., Feb. 26. Based on a random drawing, we’d like to congratulate Sarah Lindsay who we’re hooking up with that $129 ticket!
Don’t miss out. If you still would like to attend the seminar, Technically Philly readers get a special 10 percent discount if they register with coupon code “TECHNICAL” (case-sensitive).
After the jump, see some favorite Philly-based designs as chosen by Technically Philly readers.

- Varga Bar
Contest winner Sarah Lindsay’s favorite site was Varga Bar‘s vintage classic design. - UPenn
Commenter LPatrick333 suggested UPenn’s “classy,” functional, photo-heavy homepage. - Uwishunu
Uwishunu got props from Robert J. Moore, who is no stranger to Technically Philly’s contests (read: pterodactyl-obsessed), hyped iSEPTA for its simple utility. Reader Steven Feldman went with an even simpler SEPTA design: Septime.org‘s mobile schedule offering. - Geekadelphia, Christopher Scott and Haveboard
There was plenty of self-promotion, too. Christopher Scott—who’s, ahem, a Web designer—nominated his portfolio page, jokingly, before putting his vote behind Geekadelphia. Haveboard, too, shamelessly nominated his own local skateboard site, Haveboard.com. - PhillySportsGirl
Jon Gross‘s pick was PhillySportsGirl, which despite its simplistic WordPress theme, brings a much-needed Women’s voice to local sports.
Thanks to everyone that submitted!

So many great sites were highlighted that we didn’t get to list here, including my choice of bluecadet.com
Now that you’ve missed your chance to win the prize, any other Flash Web sites in Philly you looove?
