experimented w/tweets, avoided twits and eventually found those whose posts added value = time spent following.
I unfollow plenty, never follow plenty and hope not to waste my time or theirs. Wish Philly people much success with all their efforts. this city needs to retain their creatives and keep them happy.

Wow! Thank you for picking me up in your list. I totally agree, Twitter numbers don’t mean jack. I would venture a guess to say that as the number of followers/following increases, it’s not a sign of influence or understanding of social media but a sign of potential ‘people collecting.’

My use of Twitter from day one is to have interesting conversations, share information, debate topics and to drive business. By sticking to that, I’ve experienced purely organic growth. I don’t care about my Twitter numbers and that works for me.
