We hope you had a fantastic weekend, Philadelphia.
As three Temple grads, we’re still feeling excited about our historically terrible football team’s sudden offensive surge. However, Bernard Peirce has nothing on a calendar full of technology events.
This week, drink with Girl Geeks, go camping and become the next great CTO.

Girl Geek Dinners – Fresh after its Ignite Philly debut, Girl Geek Dinners will be hosting a casual meetup for women in the city’s tech industry. There is no schedule, other than kicking back a few drinks. What’s not to like? Tuesday. 6:30 p.m. Old City. RSVP.
PodCamp – Now in its fourth year, PodCamp is dedicated to all things podcasting and social media. Peep the schedule here and then head out to Temple this weekend, where all ticket sales will be donated to Philabundance. All weekend. 8:00 a.m. North PhiladelphiaINFO.
DreamIt Ventures Speaker Series – Every week, DreamIt Ventures hosts a member of the local entrepreneurial community to speak to its current incubator class. Typically these classes are closed to the public, but the incubator is opening this one to the masses. See Ticketleap CTO Keith Fitzgerald talk about the role of CTO and its importance in any tech company. Tuesday. 6:00 p.m. University City. RSVP.
