We guess these are “must-watches,” instead, but regardless, two Philly startups recently got love on national TV. Check out VITAband co-founder David Waxman on Fox News talking about the cashless payment system his company developed (around minute 14).

You can also see Marc Chaikin, founder of Chaikin Stock Research, on CNBC talking about why he’s sweet on Disney stock. In other news about Chaikin Stock Research, the startup that builds tools for investors, Wall Street & Technology named its app one of Wall Street’s ten best apps [PDF].

Last week we reported that standardized business testing startup HigherNext raised $540,000. Turns out that NextStage Capital led that round of funding, according to this press release. The press release also notes that HigherNext will be moving from its headquarters in Venturef0rth to an office in Lehigh Valley, Philly Tech News points out.
