The folks over at the Kauffman Foundation created an interactive map that plots nearly 30 years of the annual Inc. 500 list of the country’s fastest-growing companies.
The map, organized by county, helps visualize what you may have already known: in the last few decades, Philly has lagged behind its suburbs (and still does) when it comes to fast-growth companies, as well as other cities along the Eastern seaboard, like Baltimore, Washington, D.C. and Boston.
Check out the interactive map here.
