Great for barbecue, fireworks and your backyard pool, but bad for your neighborhood technology event calendar. Nearly every event this week is jam-packed on Tuesday and Wednesday so picking your agenda this week will be tough, but we’re here for you, dear reader.

On Monday, brushup on your Drupal modules and themes at the Zivtech’s Drupal meetup (can you tell we’re WordPress guys at heart?). On Wednesday, you have your pick between Social Media Day and Technically Philly’s very own meetup with Silver Marketing Group at Octo.

Wednesday, June 30th: We always enjoy when our friends at Mashable come to town. Here, the 67th Ward-based superblog is sponsoring a slew of social media days around the globe. Wednesday, June 30th: The best part of working on Technically Philly is the conversations with our readers. We love hearing what you guys like, what you don’t and what you think we should be improving on. Oh not much. Just that huge, silly Mashable mixer that brings the popular blog to Philly for the first time. Rumor has it they even catered the event specially to Philadelphia.

After you recover from talking social media until 2 a.m., you can shake off the grogginess by attending the third Ignite Philly presented by P’unk Ave‘s Geoff DiMasi and company. But, please, get there early. Last year’s was so packed that Johnny Brenda’s stopped letting people in.

If you can’t be around this weekend, then at least make it out to the SEO Grail April Meetup on Tuesday where Pay Per Click strategies and tips will be discussed.

The event, put together along with Independents Hall, will be hosted at Cavanaugh’s River Deck over on Columbus Blvd. Oh, and did we mention that the sponsors are set to cover some of the tab? Saturday, May 2nd: A slew of presenters have 5 minutes (20 slides for 15 seconds each) to educate the audience on their topic of choice. The format allows presentations that interest you to spark your interest to learn more, and gives you enough time to go grab another beer during the not-so-exciting ones.
