Event Highlights for December 21 – December 27, 2009

It’s that time of year, Philadelphia. Candy canes, snow and presents should have you thinking of one thing: tech events.

Well, maybe that’s just the staff of Technically Philly. However, despite our love for tech, our calendar is feeling the effects of the holiday season with only two events to speak of.

First, The Philadelphia User Group reps the west side and chats maps in the ‘burbs and Hive 76 hopes you attend its open house before settling in for the holidays.

Event Highlights for November 16 – 22, 2009

If there’s anything we can tell you after having spent the weekend in Washington teaching 6,300 enthusiastic and talented young high school journalism students at the Journalism Education Association annual national conference, it’s to never stop learning.

Fortunately, we know you don’t plan to stop. And more power to you for that. This week is light on events, but there’s plenty to gain.

Philadelphia Linux Users Group West talks cloud computing, philly.NET celebrates its eighth anniversary and PhillyALT.net leads a discussion on functional programming, after the jump.
